識別報讀戲劇的演藝人才

​

The School of Drama is practice-oriented and aims to nurturing creativity built upon the foundation of experience.  The School encourages students to have unwavering dedication, self-discipline and fortitude as they receive training in stage presence, body movement, speech delivery, musical proficiency for actors, stage aesthetics, the languages of theatre and leadership skills for directors. Students will also benefit from the School’s comprehensive approach that provide a wide range of courses designed to craft all-round professionals including script analysis, applied theatre, dramaturgy, interdisciplinary projects, theatre history, literature and criticism.  They will also be able to participate in internships in professional theatre companies and organise overseas performances and workshop.

There are five majors in the School's undergraduate programme and students who have potential and passion for theatre are welcome to apply.​

In addition, the learning experience from secondary schools, extra-curricular trainings and other relevant experiences that our successful applicants obtained prior to their admission is also provided for reference. 


作為一家實踐型學院，戲劇學院的教習指向創作，創作本於經驗。學院鼓勵學員必須具備堅毅刻苦的學習精神，接受各專業領域的嚴格訓練，例如演員的臨在感、形體、台詞、歌唱，導演的美學思維、劇場詞彙、領導能力等等。學員藉學院提倡之聯合教學法，融匯運用在分科學習所得的種種訓練，培養綜合實力：劇本分析、應用劇場、劇場構作、跨學科專題項目、戲劇歷史、文學及批評等。所有教與學，均體現於各種實踐平台，從校內排練室，大、小劇場，到校外專業劇團實習，海外交流演出及工作坊等，都是我們的常規練兵之地。

 

學院的學士課程有五個主修，歡迎有表演潛質，對戲劇有濃厚興趣的同學申請。​

 

具備以下條件及訓練的同學可考慮被推薦。我們也提供了過去成功獲錄取同學的校內學習經歷、校外訓練及其他相關經驗，以供參考。

Who should be recommended?

​

  • Have potential and passion for theatre

  • Speak fluent Cantonese and read Chinese

​

Other specific qualifications for different Majors:

1. Major in Acting for Drama

  • Able to present monologue and perform unaccompanied song

  • Able to present movement piece (e.g. dance, martial art, mime, etc.)

2. Major in Acting for Musical Theatre

  • Able to present monologue and perform unaccompanied song

  • Able to present movement piece (e.g. dance, martial art, mime, etc.)

3. Major in Applied Theatre

  • Able to produce critical and creative writing

  • Able to perform monologue or speech

  • Able to produce talent performance (e.g. singing, dance, mime, musical instrument playing, etc.)

4. Major in Directing

  • Literate in English

  • Able to produce critical and creative writing

  • Able to perform monologue or speech

  • Able to produce talent performance (e.g. singing, dance, mime, musical instrument playing, etc.)

5. Major in Dramaturgy

  • Proficient in English
