School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts (TEA) provides professional, innovative education for dedicated students who wish to pursue a select and intensive education in design, technology, and management for Western and Chinese performances and related technical and entertainment arts. The School’s diversified programmes develop students’ creative, analytical, technical and communications skills necessary for making original contributions to the industry. Our alumni work in many fields related to the entertainment industry, including theatre consultancy, concert sound and lighting, event production and management, graphic design, architectural lighting, fashion design, window display, project engineering and many entertainment supporting industries.
The undergraduate programme offers three major options. Each major consists of some specialist study areas as follows:

Not only students who are interested or have experience in the study areas or career pathways mentioned above, but those who have talents in visual arts, fine arts, and music creation or who have experience in organising drama performances or have leadership skills are also welcome to apply.

舞台及製作藝術學院為具有天份和致力求學的同學，提供有關東西方演藝和舞台製作藝術的適切而深入的訓練，培養他們的創造力、分析能力和製作技術，為業界貢獻原創力量。學院多元的課程，能讓學員掌握當前舞台及娛樂製作行業多元發展所需的各種技能。學院畢業生在娛樂製作及管理相關的行業發展理想，如擔任舞台顧問、音樂會現場燈光音響設計、劇場設計及項目管理、平面設計、建築物照明工程、時裝設計、櫥窗設計和工程統籌等。

Interested in collaborative arts, particularly through communication, good interaction and negotiation with directors, designers, performers and all production personnel to ensure the smooth running of theatre productions, events and projects

Interested in managing rehearsals, performances, props sourcing and handcrafting, show calling, as well as production budgeting and management
2. Specialisation in Technical Direction

A good team player, with an interest in STEM, Maker culture, Design and Technology projects, especially with good ability to take initiative and a leadership role to steer complex practical projects by identifying and solving problems creatively and critically

Interested in exploring new application of technologies to solve daily or bigger problems

Interested in working on hands-on projects to develop technical and artistic understanding of traditional theatre technology as well as new and emerging entertainment technologies
